About
As a Melbourne-based photographer, I spend much of my time exploring with my camera, capturing the city, the coast, and the places that catch my eye while travelling. Photography has become one of the great pleasures of my retirement.
My story
Like many people, I spent years taking photographs with compact cameras and later my phone. Everything changed when I rediscovered photography with a dedicated digital camera and started exploring what it could really do.
Retirement gave me the time to slow down, keep learning, and explore with my camera. At the same time, I found myself becoming increasingly interested in design, and how combining the two could create something more than a photograph alone.
Today, you’ll often find me exploring Melbourne’s streets and neighbourhoods, or heading to the coast and countryside in search of new landscapes. Whether close to home or travelling around Australia and overseas, there’s always something new to discover. It’s that sense of discovery that continues to inspire my photography – and the fine art prints and photo-designed products I create from it.
A little about me
Before discovering photography, I spent many years working in hospitality, catering and the events industry, where looking after people was always at the heart of what I did. Those years taught me the importance of listening, attention to detail and providing genuine, personal service – qualities I still value today.
Although photography has become my creative outlet, I’ve never lost the importance of good customer service. I hope people choose something they’ll genuinely enjoy for years to come, and I believe the experience of buying it should be just as rewarding as receiving it.
